Did you know?

Horses have essential bacteria in their stomach that digests their food. If you change a horses food to quickly or often  it can kill the bacteria and cause colic. Whenever changing your horses (as well as other animals)  feed always mix it with your current feed per instructions provided on the label. This will ensure the bacteria has time to learn to digest the new food. A little prevention goes a long way for the health of your horses.
